Established in the Cayman Islands in 2017.

Robusto Investment Fund SPC is an exempted segregated portfolio company incorporated in the Cayman Islands. It was formed for private clients and families, and has served them since 2017.

Offices are maintained in the Cayman Islands, London and Dubai. A client may work with the office that suits the relationship. The same care is applied in each.

Client names, assets under management and performance are not published. Those matters are discussed in private.

Approach

Preservation first. Capital is placed with the fund to be looked after. Decisions begin with the risk that can be borne, and with the liabilities that capital must meet.

A long-term view. Portfolios are arranged over a horizon of years. They are reviewed when circumstances change, rather than on a calendar of activity.

Independent judgement. Each portfolio is considered on its own facts. The view reached is explained in plain language.

Aligned interests. The relationship is direct. Terms, including fees, are agreed in writing before a portfolio is opened.

Ring-fenced by law.

Robusto is a segregated portfolio company. Under Cayman Islands company law, each segregated portfolio holds its own assets and liabilities. Those assets and liabilities are legally separate from every other portfolio, and from the general assets of the company.

A portfolio may be opened for one client or for a family. The arrangement is set out in writing at the start. The separation is part of the company, not a contractual preference.
